History
As a young studio we have the benefit of being able to re-write the rules so to speak. We kicked off with our internal development team in 2006 and since then we’ve developed games on PSN, PS3 and DS with more titles to come. Ravn Studio is the only Norwegian studio registered licensed developer on all current platforms. We have experience with various genres, most notably arcade style games, character-driven games and film tie-ins.
Close to Oslo (only 30 minutes by Train), our offices are based in Drammen, located right by the river, we have access to a great deal of local shops and businesses. From getting your morning coffee from the local bakery, doing your weekly groceries or simply getting your haircut; most shops are within 2 to 5 minute walk from the office. We also have a gym 5 minutes away from which you can get a discounted membership.
You will be pleased to know that Drammen is also know for something else; Aass beer. A little further down the river you will find the local brewery which produces this delicious nectar. As such, the city center is a vibrant and exciting place to enjoy local produce either by the river front when the sun is out or by a warm log fire during winter months.

We truly believe in a strong work environment where you can be creative and productive. Our open plan office allows you to talk to your colleges and get the best solutions to creative problems or challenges. Game development isn’t easy, we won’t contradict you there, but we do believe that with some strong teamwork, collaboration and open communication we can make the process easier and a lot more fun!
You will find that we work hard on getting the job done yet we also focus on having a workplace which is fun, productive, rewarding but challenging at the same time.
Relocating
Moving away from home can be complicated and stressful but rest assured we will help out as much as possible. We will look after the paperwork; from helping with social security numbers to housing and banking. We want Ravn Studio to be your new home making sure that you feel welcome and integrated into the studio.
