Record subsidy for Norwegian games

The Norwegian Film Institute has this week given over 10 million in grants to 11 Norwegian computer games.

The Norwegian Film Institute has this week given more than 10 million in grants to 11 Norwegian computer games.
NFI with record support
NFI has increased the fund budget for games in 2019, and never before have we awarded so much in game grants in one round as this time, says Kaja Hench Dyrlie, section leader and games manager at the Norwegian Film Institute.
In this round of applications, there were a total of 33 applicants, and as many as eight of the games receiving grants are new projects.

We will develop Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond
Ravn Studio AS receives 1,500,000 in grants for Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond.
Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond is a platform game inspired by classics such as Donkey Kong and Super Mario Bros., based on the well-known entertainment universe. Together with Pinky, Sunniva, Marco and Captain Sabertooth, you must brave villains, monkeys and other dangers in the hunt for treasure, gold and a magical diamond.

We are now making the game for Nintendo Switch and mobile.
